How do the Function-Up Arrow (Page Up) and Function-Down Arrow (Page
Down) keys on laptops appear not to work for VoiceOver if you have
cursor tracking turned off? I usually have my cursors tracking (or
at least Mouse cursor tracking VoiceOver cursor), but turning this
off seems to give somewhat better behavior with Safari 3 in the
latest version of Tiger (10.4.11). I agree with Chris that AFAIK the
laptop equivalents for Page up and Page down with the function keys
and arrows always work, provided Page up and Page down are supported
in the app.

On Mac laptops there isn't a separate bunch of keys for page up/
down or
home/end. So on those machines Function+up is PageUp, Function+down is
PageDown, Function+Left is home and Function+right is end. AFAIK they
should always work this way. Whether the context of the application
you
are in does anything when you PageUp is another matter.
