Can't remove Ibraille application

I have downloaded and installed Ibraille application from index  
braille in the hope that it might work with my Everest embosser.  
However, as I have been told by Index Braille that this application  
will only work with version 3 Index Braille embossers, I wanted to  
uninstall it following the steps given in the uninstall.rtf file  
included with the .dmg file. Both manual uninstall via Terminal and  
running the uninstaller which uses apple script application didn't  
work. Applescript just gets stuck and I have to force quit it. Manual  
way didn't work - maybe I just didn't do the it right - I have no  
experience of Terminal. I haven't tryied to eject the Ibraille.app  
from the applications folder as I am not sure whether it might result  
in some problems as the instructions on uninstallation were so specific.

Could anyone on the list give me some advice in clear steps as to how  
to get rid of Ibraille? I don't want it cluttering my system.
