Instead of using visio voice to read the whole contents of a website,
I have a more elegant solution I feel.
Put yourself in this scenario.
I am using the ultralingua dictionary and I am wanting to read about
the subjunctive tense in French, via the french grammar section of
refeences. Now, all this is presented in a website form from within
the application of ultralingua itself.
Isn't it possible for someone to write some sort of work flow, to
bring up the voice chooser for HTML content areas?
then one can press a key type sa, mar for maria, hit enter, and
immediately get spanish speech?
isn't this a more elegant way than having to read the whole page with
voice ove?
Now, i have tried a workflow myself but to no avail.
what I think would be ideal is this
write some sort of script to somehow lock you onto the voice chooser
for the HTML content area part of voice over. then when one hits a
site in say, italian, one can hit a key type the name of the voice
they want as they will be ever present in the menu of voices, press
enter, and problem solved
What do you guys think especially Anne and other linguists like myself?
