Not sure, but you can set up a nano play list and copy the playlist into 
that.

You don't know how to manually copy a playlist from iTunes to the ipod nano
by chance do you?

I have tried a few different ways but maybe i'll just tell the ipod to
automatically sync instead of manually managing music.

I prefer to manage my music manually but if it can't be done well i'll look
for an alternative.
