I don't have that problem either. Hope you figure out how to resolve it!

hmmmm, kay. why does it keep losing interaction with the songs table
in the store, then? does anyone else have that problem or is it just
mine?

These things are only available in certain parts of ITunes so if

Sorry.

how do you change views? mine are all dimmed in the view menu. I
looked all through prefferences and didn't see any way to change it
there either, and the little buttons at the top that say text view,
grid view, etc are all dimmed too.

OK guys, this is kind a strange, I'll admit. OK, let's say I
wanna do a search for Leann Rimes in my library. OK, so, I'm in
the sources list, not interacting with it, just sitting on it
basicly. OK, now, I tab over, until I reach the search box and
hear I'm at the beginning of the insertion point. BTW, just to
clarify, I am speaking that this happens to me under Leopard. In
Tiger I don't see this issue, but in Leopard I do. Anyway, ok, so
I type Leann Rimes, then I hit tab. I then hear absolutely
nothing. if I down arrow, I hear nothing. If I tab, I hear maybe
like 3 albums, however if I down arrow, I now hear country. So,
it's like, it's throwing me into the genre field of the browser.
now if I tab I get say 3 albums again. If I down arrow, then I
see the albums, but, instead a doing that, if I shift tab back
twice, now, I'm finally on where it says maybe 2 or 3 artists.
Then if I down arrow, I get the list of artists. I find this not
only very bazaar, but incredibly annoying as I never really know
what parta the browser I'm in, which stinks, being I got over 50
thousand tracks in my library, and forever more growing. On
Tiger, I didn't have this. I'd type Leann Rimes, then tab, and
boom. I'd hear 3 artists, I'd tab, and hear say, 5 albums, I'd
tab once more, then be in the songs outline. Does the browser in
Leopard work slightly differently? I'm really batheled why it's
doing this. Ive unloaded and reloaded voiceover but that did no
good.

I've even rebooted.

Yes, my system has all the latest software updates. I checked
that too.

Chris.
