vlog help

Hello listers;  For a while now I've been thinking of adding a vlog to  
my site.  I was wondering if some of you could suggest a good program  
to use.  I'd also appreciate any helpful articles on what to do and  
not do in a vlog.  I'm pretty sure a lot of it is common sense, but  
I'd like to get my head in the right place before starting. Thanks in
