Hi Krister
This is actually what it's supposed to do, as growl is designed to
notify you of events happening in windows other than the one you are
currently in. If Skype sends a growl message for example and skype is
the foreground application, growl doesn't display it. Not sure if you
can change this or not. Speaking of growl, though, I've got a question
I've not found an answer to. I can get Growl to speak when I set the
message style to speech, but can't get it to use the speech parameters
I have set in the speech pain of system prefs. I can choose the voice
but that's it, and the default rates are so excruciatingly slow that
it's easier for me not to have growl speak at all and just hide it.
Have you found a way to change the speech preferences in growl?

Hi there.
I have justinstalled Adium and Growl and now i wanted to have Skype
and Adium speak chat messages as they arrive. In skype, this works
when i'm not in the chat window, but when i am in the chat window,
Growl doesn't speak. Is this normal behaviour or is it something
that can be changed, and if so, how?
Thanks in advance.
