Lol. I think this is a rather inaccurate and general statement. There are several users on this list, including myself, who have bought it, and beyond the accessibility features, they are flying off the shelves faster than they can be stocked, as occurs with any new iPod release.

Overall, I certainly think this device has its place and is a great option for those who own the Classics. If you are willing to spend the money, it, from what I've heard, will work well enough to get you by. Having used Rockbox for a number of years, I think Apple's inplimentation of speech on the Nano is done extremely well and eliminates a few steps in enabling the player to have speech. In the long term, all indications are that the hard disk iPods will be phased out and the Flash players with bigger memory will take their places. This, though, probably won't happen for a year or two, and there will still be those who own the Classics, as I still have my old Archoes JB20 from Six plus years ago. Thus, I think the info originally posted by Dave was quite useful and helpful to list members.
