Hi Alex,
Your best bet is probably to check out the CUCAT web page for Olearia,
the free, open source Mac based Daisy playback software that Greg
Kearney is working on in collaboration with other member of the Curtin
University Centre for Accessible Technology. There's supposedly a link
to the beta source code at the web page, but you should realize this
is still under development. Greg originally posted about this effort
to this list in the discussions following the apparent inavailability
of Kateplayer. Here's the relevant URL:

HTH, Or, you could try getting in touch with Greg directly, Here's
one of the posts from the archives that discusses this effort:

Hi,
Well, Is there any other Daisy book player. I particularily want to
listen to CNIB (Canadian National Instatute for the Blind) content.
I know that there is DTB2ITunes, but will this work, or can someone
suggest something better?
Thanks for listening,
Alex,

Hi Alex,
I can get to the old KatiePlayer pages with the downloads, etc. but
the source was never published. This only works to get versions of
the trial versions or copies of the regular program, so it doesn't
help people who don't already have a key. If you find the
correct link and search the Wayback Machine you can often get to
working versions of old web pages. You can't get to what was never
put on the web, however. I don't know what happened to Joe of
Kafka's Daytime. David Poehlman and others tried to get in touch
with him, but the site just went dead.
Here's an old link through the Wayback Machine that will let you
access some of the early content:

Katiplayer and the app?
