Hmmmm, I wonder if there isn't a way to add it as a bonus track. I
mean, just like subtitles, you can phave them or not have them.
Well, I suppose you could do it with Garageband, but shame there isn't
an easier way.

Not with Handbrake itself. If you want to do that you'll need to
remaster the DVD including the home DVS track as an audio track on
the remastered copy. If you have quicktime pro you can also create
the movie with handbrake then add the audio track later and save it.
