The one thing I don't get about the Adium plug-in is that Skype has to
be running to use it. Um, isn't the whole point of using Adium to put
all different programs into one application and why use their skype
plug-in if you're already running Skype?

hi
are you a skype user who doesn't like to use the skype chat system?
Well, why don't you go to this page:
http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=5011
and install that plugin. From what i can see, you can add and chat via
text with your skype contacts. I did however, not get a chance to try
out calling someone, i don't syspect you can, but wasn't sure if you
knew of the skype api plugin for adium,
http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=5011
try it out
