Hi,

I am finally writing a description of the VIP-Toolkit. As many of you do not know, I am not a full-time developer, so unfortunately things have kept me busy long enough that I was unable to write this sooner.

My Appoligies.

Let's jump into the heart of the matter. Get ready, and take the plunge. The next step in computer developement has been taken. The VIP- Toolkit from the VIPBC.org Group has begun a new method of designing, deploying, testing, distributing, ... Etc. Cross-Platform applications. Having full support from VIPBC.org for the Mac, IPhone (Formerly Slimvoice), and Linux versions and possible community support for a Windows version, this framework was designed from the ground up to provide accessibility to users of screen readers. Based on Apache Web Technologies, CSS, Perl, Unix, and many other proven technologies. VIP-Toolkit includes code from many different Open- Source projects and provides a stirdy framework on which to build applications that are lightweight, portible, and accessible.

VIP-Toolkit Applications have the added bonous that they can be accessed from anywhere in the World with computers that do not have preinstalled Assistive Technologies via the use of the VIPBC.org Central server cluster.

VIP-Toolkit's native OS, VIP will make use of the Central Cluster to store data and for redistribution systems as well.

Let me know what of this article can be improved, or E-mail me with questions, Smiley.

Enjoy,
Alex,
