Ok. this email is not to discuss the legality of torrenting.
Torrenting in and of itself is not illegal. What one torrents may or
may not be illegal however.
There are some places who actually encourage torrenting stuff like
through the bible program by j vernon mcgee to save on server
bandwidth and such.
And other people encourage passing there stuff on to others as long as
they don't make a profit.
Torrenting is not I repeat not illegal.
What one torrents may or may not be however.
Anyway.
Some have mentioned transmission.
www.utorrent.com now has a client for the mac that works or reads
better than transmission.
Now some files for whatever reason utorrent will not accept the file
and I do not know why.
But most torrents I would say about 95% of the torrents I have
downloaded in utorrent load just fine.
I do find whatever torrent client one uses it is technically better to
finish one torrent before adding another. Then the torrents don't seem
to lock up.
Once the torrent is finished downloading its contents you can add
another and let that one that has finished just seed for a while.
Hope this helps some of you.
