Mike, slightly on the side, can you list the vmware tools which you have installed? In your podcast you said you only selected certain tools but not all. After installing all of the vmware tools I had dreadful problems with Jaws video intercept. Soren also reports this. I had to do windows restore to get rid of that. I wonder whether it is some video or display driver in vmware tools which did something. I just don't know.

Thanks, Mike, Simon

I don't use jaws, but window eyes works great. Just have to turn off the num pad commander in voice over temporarily so the insert key works.

Subject: Jaws/Win Eyes under fusion

Hi,

I've been off the list for around 6 months and wondered had there been any progress in getting Jaws or Win Eyes to run properly under Fusion i.e there were always problems with the insert key and not being able to map it to the caps lock key for those of us running the Macbook.

If this is now possible can someone point me to the resource where I can find out how its done?

Also on a different topic, is Adium still the instant messenger client of choice? I remember it was usable although a bit clunky.

Kind regards

Graham
