How would you envision his working? The benefit of a touchscreen for
those who can see is that the active regions of the screen are
dynamic, meaning that depending on what application you are using
touching the screen in the same spot performs a different action. How
would you envision this working with braille?

it to work. I'm sure that once touch screens are accepted by the
BVI community, computers will be smaller; iPhones will become the
norm, and perhaps braille can be marketed in such a way that it can
be adapted to touch screens. It's here to stay; don't anticipate
anything better or more sophisticated to come in my lifetime.
