De directcursor is een handige manier om tekst op een willekeurige positie op een pagina in te voeren. Kies Extra - Opties - LibreOffice Writer - Linguïstiek om het gedrag van de directcursor in te stellen. 1. Klik op de werkbalk Werktuigen op het pictogram Directcursor . 2. Klik in een vrije ruimte in het tekstdocument. De muisaanwijzer verandert en geeft aan welke uitlijning op de getypte tekst zal worden toegepast: Links uitlijnen Gecentreerd Rechts uitlijnen 3. Voer uw tekst in. LibreOffice voegt automatisch het benodigde aantal lege regels in, en, als deze opties ingeschakeld zijn, tabs en spaties.
