Hi everyone!

Just want to write about two things:

THING 1

I got back a response on Issue Issue 41419
"Support for playing back movies in impress with RealPlayer + avmedia".
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=41419

Please read the comments and vote on the issue and comment yourself.
Maybe more votes and comments will help to stimulate the powers that
be about this issue.

THING 2

Rob! Thank you for the information about "Accordent". The free
program is called, "PresenterOne Basic", Anyone can check it out
here along with the pay versions.
http://www.realnetworks.com/products/presenterone/

At least it provides, as you indicated Rob, "...a stop-gap -- if you
are running Windows...".

Below is some information on the web site about "PresenterOne Basic".

"PresenterONE Basic provides a great way to start creating
professional streaming presentations. It enables content creators to
create professional presentations with on demand RealMedia and
synchronized PowerPoint slides â all displayed in the RealPlayer â all
of this using a wizard-based tool that provides step-by-step guidance
and requires absolutely no hand coding.
--On demand RealMedia support
--Synchronized PowerPoint slides
--Auto-publish to CD or on demand
--Customizable interfaces
--Presentations up to 15 minutes in length"

Input anyone on "Thing 1" and/or "Thing 2"??
