In my copy of OOo 1.9.87 on Win XP, if I am in a blank OOo window (no
files open) and the open a Writer document. It opens in that window.
Is this the problem you are describing?
Yes. That's exactly it. I'm on Windows 98 SE and it does that too. Is
that a bug? Or just something that's on there?
