OpenOffice.org *does* support WordPerfect documents. It's just a seperate download - for now. In the soon-coming OOo 2.0 (now in Beta) it is included. OpenOffice.org 2.0 is due to come out in a couple of months, but if you need WP compatiblity right way, please visit this page and download the plug-in called "WriterPerfect"
