A couple ideas: I wonder if this might be caused by adjusting to printer page size automatically. Maybe someone have changed something in printer configuration? Check the page size and margins in printer dialogs, and in OOo document.
You might want to try downloading and installing 2.0 beta and see if it the same. But if this is production environment, maybe not use beta.
