Quoting Peter Kupfer OOo <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I was messing around with the Live CDs for Mephis and Knoppix the other
day and I couldn't find a way to make it run my dual displays. Does
anyone sucessefully run dual displays with Linux? I assume the answer is
yes.

The only thing I found on Google was Xfree or X86 or XWin, someting like
that. It looked like it would work. Has anyone has success with this?

Thanks.

You need to learn more about X.org or Xfree. The display you see on your monitor
is an X client ran by an X server in your computer. With linux you have the
hability to have multiple monitors connected to 1 CPU not like dual diplay but
as actually multiple machines.

For dual display there are several projects also on sourceforge so you can
download and run them.
