(I sent this in yesterday from the wrong account and it may come in
eventually; HOWEVER, I got a bounce message from my isp [for the wrong
acct], so apologies if it shows up again eventually ...)
When I write docs at the office, I have to use "standard" templates
which I converted to use with OOo a long time ago, and mostly
everything works just fine :-).
There is one which has me stumped though. (BTW I'm currently using
1.9.104, but the same problem applies whether I use so7, or oo-1.1.3
...)
Everything is must be set up for 2-sided printing (first page, left
page, right page, etc.), and ALL level 1 headings MUST begin on a
right-hand page. No probelm - if I modify the Heading format (text
flow>insert blank page > with page format right page) I get a blank
page. However this page is a *completely* blank page with no header
and no footer as with the the preceding left-/right-hand pages.
What I am *required* to put there is an otherwise blank page containing
the regular left-hand page header and footer PLUS a centered label on
the page (Hor. and Vert.) saying:
"This page intentionally left blank"
I have RTFM'ed all of the docs I've seen so far (since Staroffice6
and the first Oo release I ever got), but I haven't found any way
to do this automatically. While I *can* create a "blank left page"
format with the text put in place automatically (create text background
as graphic containing the text I need...), this operation is manual.
Yesterday morning I had to change 32 of these manually when page 3 of a
250+ page doc changed & expanded to page 4, and it was a pain (plus I
missed the third 'blank page' and had to redo it).
If anybody has an easier way to do this, I'd really appreciate
the info.
Thanks
