On page 250 (Chap. 16, "Using Fontwork"),
in "Fontwork changed drastically improved with OOo 2.0, with many new
features.",
delete "changed".
Thanks. I'll fix this in a few minutes in the "development" tree of the
guide (http://oooauthors.org). I'm not sure when this will show up on
the manuals page of the Docs project, since the person who normally
uploads chapters is on holidays.
And a question/idea: Are these books written using OOo? (If so, why
not feature that on the inside front page, etc.?)
Yes they are :-)
That's an interesting idea. I'll mention it to our editors.
Incidentally, OOo is designed with an emphasis on large documents, like
books. We have some unique features (like Edit > Navigator) and others
are just superior (Format > Styles and Formatting).
Take a look at the Intro to Styles chapter of the Writer Guide some time
(written by yours truly :)
