We already have this in Linux. If you are worry about windows, we have
asked a bout possible OOo skins. However Firefox skinning is more advanced
so is easier to do a skin of firefox than from OOo just because the
ammount of tools in FF is lesser and change less too.
If you are talking of an acutal merge of visual toolkit libraries, then
get ready for a 6 month development to messed up with the VCL understand
the model of abstraction layer and re-work the engine so it can be
compatible with the one in Mozilla.

Hello All!
I also think it would be nice to have FF and TB more interactive and
integrated with OOo, however, I think it should be more like a plugin
situation. IMHO I think that OOo should be able to allow different
"other" programs to "plugin". FF and TB should be the primary ones
while still allowing for the possiblity of others that provide the same
function. Somehow I think there would be a skinning community that would
"pop-up" along with some tutorials to make it all look and feel good. :-)
Just some thoughts on the matter.

Don't the licenses of Firefox and Thunderbird permit you to distribute
their
software freely? Why not bundle those two programs with Ooo? Microsoft
Office has Outlook included in its office suite, and IE is, of course,
omipresent. An email program would really seem to give the suite a bit
more
traction. Perhaps Ooo and mozilla could collaborate? I'm sure this has
all
been broached before, but I think it would be a good move.
