for 1.1 versions you must first install as root with -net flag :
/setup -net
after that, run oo.org as the user you want menus for (from /opt/*1.1.5
or where ever you have it installed)
this should add menus and create file associations.
note that it would not replace existing menus, you would still have
access to 1.1.3
