which leads to issue 34609 which has been considered duplicate, but I
can't find what it purportedly duplicates.
To make this issue (as it affects me) clearer:
In order to keep things straight when I am writing or
editing, I make heavy use of keyboard shortcuts in Microsoft word,
viz. Alt-R turns screen text red, Alt-B turns it blue, Alt-G turns it
green, and so forth. This is for my use on the machine; when I print
it on my monochrome laser printer it all looks black, which is fine.
I have not been able to find a way to make this happen in
Open Office 2. The lack of equivalently convenient keyboard commands
has driven me back to Word several times--even though I have been
willing to learn to do other things Open Office's way.
Can you help? When this changes, I'll likely become an OO
user for most of my work.
Thanks,
