Good afternoon! Page Imposition is pretty easy in Writer. Her is the excerpt straight from the Help file:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Brochure Select the Brochure option to print your document in brochure format. The brochure format is as follows in OpenOffice.org Writer: If you print a document in portrait on a landscape page, two opposing sides in a brochure will be printed next to each other. If you have a printer with double-sided printing capability, then you can create an entire brochure from your document without having to collate the pages later. I am looking for imposition software. This is for making booklets and bound publications - page 1 and page 4 go on one side of a sheet and page 2 and page 3 on the other. For an 8 page publication, one sheet has page 1 and 8/2 and 7, the other has 3 and 6/4 and 5. Likewise for 12 and 16 pages. This arrangement of pages is called Imposition. There is software available commercially as an Acrobat plug-in but the price is extortionate. Also it is desirable to have crop marks optional. Can't find anything for Linux, if it doesn't exist it would make a good add-on for open office. 4 pages on on sheet go 1,4 right way up at bottom and 2,3 upside down.
