Dear OpenOffice.org staff, Yesterday my company published four new how-to books on OpenOffice.org programs.
They're part of the In Pictures series, computer how-to books based on pictures, not text. Most computer books contain 50-100,000 words, but these contain only 5K or so. They're great for bringing newbies up to speed. We're also promoting them in a new way: letting people download them for free under a Creative Commons license. We figure the best way to promote them is to let people try them at no cost, so we'll run the "free books" offer for a month or two. The books are at www.inpics.net.
