When I try this in Excel 97, I get Dec, 06 Dec, 07 Dec, 08 etc So its not just a case of Excel doing something that OOo cannot. What you need is to define a custom format of 'xxx, 99'. This is a numeric fomat, so the '05' will increment. Of course, it will carry on to Dec 13!
