I've been following this (and other similar threads) with dismay, because I, too, hate MickeySoft with a passion. I've criticized Redmond's arrogance at more conferences than I can count -- often from behind the podium as a speaker.
But I can't lose the time and/or features that OO presently requires. I just spent an hour repairing footers that either I or OO destroyed (I think I know which), and I have document template problems I can't solve in OO. I have to move on. I have no sympathy for those on this list who are ranting at the OO developers; they're doing the work for this project, not us. I will continue to monitor each major release and test it in my spare time. I WANT this to succeed -- but putting food on the table has to come first. Good luck, folks. -- Best regards, Bill mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
