This has been raised in the passed and from a technical perspective I
believe it is an indepth and complex process. Unsure whether it is on
the roadmap or not.

The most common response will always be that if your using more than
256 columns, spreadsheet really isn't the tool that should be used. A
RDBMS would probably suit more - just a thought..
