It has one, but it's not called that and you have to do a little
arithmetic (simple addition) to set the binding-edge margin. In
Writer, go to Format > Page > Indents & Spacing tab. If you set
the page format to "mirrored" then you can set "inner" and
"outer" margins: just add the binding space to the "inner" margin
value. If you prefer to use different page styles for right and
left pages, then set the right margin on left pages and the left
margin on right pages to be wide enough to include the binding space.

You might find some of the chapters in the Writer Guide helpful.
For example, Ch4 (Formatting Pages) and Ch6 (Introduction to Styles).

hm, it doesn't seem to be under any 'indents and spacing' tab, in the
page style tab it appears to be under a tab called 'page' and then in
a section called layout - just a clarification there
