We are trying to get more offices to to to Open Office and have the
following issue / question.
We can not sent Open office files (.ods and .odt) to MSoffice users.
Your correct, MS Office users cannot open (easily) these types of files.
OOo can save files in many formats including that of MS Office. Try
file > save as > then select a MS format (eg, .doc ; .xls ; etc...)
There is also the option (in OOo2.1) for the user to email the file
directly as a MS file. eg, if your in writer the option is : file >
send > email as MS Word ; In Calc the option is file > send > email as
MS Excel

Huh ?? Defender doesn't stop spyware (Webroot) ; firewall is only 50%
