The main linux distros use ooo-build for the base of their
OpenOffice.org. It is a patched OpenOffice.org. I think this capability
is requested in issuezilla (the bugtracking system). Please search for
it and vote for it if you want.
BUT
You can left click on the 100% display of statusbar where you can reach
near same functionality.
