Why is the most current version of OpenOffice for OS/2 only available
through OS/2 Vendors, and for a fee? If I were using windows, solaris

it's not being distributed through your webpage, along with all the
other versions. It's your offering, not e-comstation's.
Just curious about the rationale.
Seems to me to be simply a matter of resources, Steven. You can always
download the source code and compile it yourself.
At a guess, not many OOo developers are running OS/2 so there is little
incentive to develop the OS/2 installation. Charging, as ecomstation.com
do, is permitted under the LGPL, providing they make the source code
available too. I note that the most recent version offered is 2.0.4,
whilst 2.3 is about to be released for the other platforms.
