Whenever I start it, and sometimes during internal operations, this message flashes up on the screen TWICE:

General input/output error. OK --------------------------------------------------------------------- This happens for both the latest 2.4 and previous 2.3 and possibly for the version(s) before that. It doesn't seem to affect anything, it's just annoying.
