I have encountered two problems/concerns with Open Office Writer. Both concern opening Microsoft Word Documents. 1-Drawing objects do not appear: the word document used drawing tools to circle words in the document. These circles do not appear when opening the document in OOWriter 2-Issues, feedback on changes and notes: a-Comments made with word do not always show up when viewing the document in Writer. They are also not as assessable or easy to read (in word they appear on the side or at the bottom of the document, in writer, they are notes that can only be viewed with the note tool. b-When trying to make a comment on (not a change to) a sentence or paragraph, writer crosses out the text I select. In Word, the text is highlighted and the comment appears on the side or at the bottom.
