friends, I don't know if this represents a bug, or just ignorance on my part, but I cannot correctly print a 3x5 client card using 3.0 and my hp1020 printer. I drew the card as a template, supplanting a printed paste-on form use in my office since before the advent of computers, and can print the new template on a 3x5 card, but it appears as tiny type in the upper left hand corner of the card. I can also print the template on letter size paper, where it appears in the correct dimensions and type size in the upper left hand corner of the page. Better than nothing, since I can print the template, reverse the paper, print it again, cut out both copies, paste one on a 3x5 card, fold the second copy over another 3x5 card so the bottom half is at the top, and I have a client and other party to add to my alphabetical files.
In my trial and error approach to print the card directly, have I overlooked some simple way to achieve the desired end? Or is this possibly a bug that doesnt affect many people. Regards, Carl
