When you reply to a thread without changing the subject line,
you are "hi-jacking" a thread. That is to use it for a subject that
is not mentioned in the subject line. Best to copy the To: address
and begin a new thread with a new subject line.

Most everybody does it in the beginning of their on-line existence.
I did and got a sharp email about it. It bothers some people more
than others but it always confuses things. Your question only lives
in the mind of those who actually read the thread.

Your Question:

So long as you do not change the licence or the name you can
distribute on your website. Personally, I would just link to a
version on the OOo site or one of the mirrors. It takes up a lot of
space. OOo has many server mirrors which provide large amounts of
space for downloads.

If you modify the program, you should advise OpenOffice.org but you
are not legally allowed to change the licence and still call it
OpenOffice.org.

I am not a lawyer, so as always, take things with a grain of salt.

saludos,
Richard.
