Folks of OpenOffice Group... I encountered an error during the install of OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 RC9.
Actually, it was during the initial first-time run of OpenOffice during Welcome to OpenOffice.org 3.3. I am running WindowsXP SP3. I do NOT have Java JRE installed on my machine. I encountered an error dialogue box after I clicked on [Finish]. -------------------- When I installed OpenOffice.org 3.1.0 a couple of years ago... The Installer for version 3.1.0 automatically installed Java(TM) 6 Update 13 during the installation process. It appears that the installer for version 3.3.0 uses MS Visual C++ in place of JAVA JRE. Great Product.
