I have been posting to mailing lists, BBS, Usenet and other incarnations
of news groups since the earliest days of computer communications. So it
is safe to assume that I am aware of this recommendation. The operative
word being "recommended", not a legally enforceable decree.

Robert, I am puzzled why you appear to be targeting my posts. In over a
decade I have posted hundreds messages to this list and in the last few
weeks I posted just two messages in HTML format, both of which you have
attacked. You are not a list moderator and have no authority to appoint
yourself as "the list police".

Maybe you are aware of the mailing list recommendation, not to fill the
archives with worthless exchanges such as this. Therefore, I suggest any
further communication on this subject be taken off-list.
