This e-mail (ovs-b...@openvswitch.org) no works? ------------------- Hi, I'm trying to compile the openvswitch to run a few experiments openflow. But when I load the module, I get errors:
insmod /cdrom/openvswitch_mod.ko openvswitch_mod: Unknown symbol llc_sap_close openvswitch_mod: Unknown symbol llc_sap_open insmod: error inserting '/cdrom/openvswitch_mod.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module To compile I am using: openvswitch: 0.90.4 Kernel 2.6.23 autoconf: 2.61 automake: 1.10.1 gcc: 4.1.3 Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 To configure and make: ./configure --with-l26=/home/openflow/works/linux-2.6.23 make With that, I use the following modules in qemu: openvswitch-0.90.4/datapath/linux-2.6/openvswitch_mod.ko openvswitch-0.90.4/secchan/secchan openvswitch-0.90.4/utilities/dpctl In addition to using the kernel-2.6.23 compiled to run qemu, with OS: Debian GNU/Linux 4.0. ps: also have yeny with other kernel: kernel-2.6.31 kernel-2.6.27.30 Thanks! -- Carlos Macapuna
