Hello Open vSwitch Community, I've been looking for an alternative to KVM/QEMUs "user-net" for quite some time now, but have not found any alternative solutions allowing multiple VM-guests having identical MAC-addresses on one and the same host.
KVMs "user-net" (slirp) allows the VMs to have identical MACs, but has poor performance. I would be very thankful for any insight, as to how I might be able to "cloak" identical MACs. Can Open vSwitch realize this with VLANs, or maybe some type of MAT (MAC-NAT)? I've looked at iptables, ebtables, etc, but I'm at a loss. The VMs do not need to be able to "talk" with each other, only with the "rest of the world".
