Well, I just rebuilt the kernel using 2.6.32.27 and ovs from the 1.7.1 branch and I have not been able to recreate the issue. It could have been the way I built the kernel or module, or even the vmxnet3 driver, but it seems OK now. I will keep testing and let you know if I find any other issue.
