Hello,

I've just started working with openvswitch and my first test was to
set a simple drop rule.

My scenario:
I'm running an openvswitch to which I connected 2 VMs
- - Windows XP client (192.168.55.100)
- - Linux server (192.168.55.2)

My drop rule:
# cat drop.rule
dl_type=0x0800,nw_src=192.168.55.100,nw_dst=192.168.55.2,nw_proto=6,tp_dst=80,action=drop
# ovs-ofctl add-flows br0 drop.rule
# ovs-ofctl dump-flows br0
cookie=0x0, duration=39.615s, table=0, n_packets=14, n_bytes=3282,
tcp,nw_src=192.168.55.100,nw_dst=192.168.55.2,tp_dst=80 actions=drop

BUT using my Windows client I can browse to the Linux server.

Do I miss something here?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Christian
