Hi,
the Network Adapters on my System don't support promiscuous mode: they
will discard all incoming packets containing unknown MAC-addresses.
These Network Adapters require a "registration" of MAC-addresses in their
fdb for the incoming traffic they should forward to the OS.
I'm planning to use KVM as Hypervisor on my system and would be happy to
use Open vSwitch as switching technology for my guests.
Can you please help me understand if Open vSwitch has the capability of
registering the Guest MAC Addresses on the configured Host uplink NICs ?
