Some of the messages in the current discussion have been delivered out of sequence because they were sent from e-mail addresses not subscribed to the list. Please mail from the list you're subscribed with.
Every day about 10 messages are sent to the PPIG list addresses from non-subscribed addresses. 99.9% of them are spam. The reason they don't end up in your mailboxes is because I've configured the lists to only accept messages from subscribed addresses. All other messages are held in limbo until I go to the admin page and look at each message and either mark it to be discarded (most of the time) or to approve, which is when it is actually passed on to the list.
If you want your message to appear immediately on the list (and to save me a little admin time), please mail from the address you're subscribed with (this will be the address that messages from the list are sent to).
When replying to messages, please don't append the entire message (with headers and signature) you're replying to. Just include enough (with attribution) to set the context. Thanks.
When posting long URLs, you might find these online resources useful: they generate short URLs from long ones so that you can mail them around without fear of them wrapping:
