Hi again fellow SYN/HAK-ers,

I really want to thank you all for the support you've given me with this Kickstarter project, we ended up hitting our initial 10K in under 4 days!  Thank you all for your pledges and help in getting the word out!  We still have another 25 days to go, and would really love to break 100K before it's over.  That would allow us to really be able to hit the ground running with an awesome open-source hardware company based right here in Akron.  So if you haven't pledged, we'd love you to get involved, whether it's with making a pledge to get some cool stuff, or just to help spread the word more.

I've also been using this project to some evangelize the hackerspace / open source hardware movement, and get the word out about SYN/HAK - I've got several mentions on the Kickstarter site about SYN/HAK, and I'm really excited to announce that we all just got on the front page of Wired.com!!!  They interviewed me for a story on the TinyDuino Kickstarter project a few days ago, and SYN/HAK is mentioned a few paragraphs in with a link to our site!

I really hope this brings some more members in and will continue to spread the word about SYN/HAK in any way I can.

Also, one thing I keep hearing is the need for some example projects.  Does anyone in SYN/HAK have any ideas of something cool that you want to make with these boards?  I could really use some help in getting some examples together that we'd highlight on the site.  If you're interested, I could get some free boards to play with, and I'd love to get some sample projects up within the next week.  So even if you only have an idea of something that you'd like to build, we could just do a quick writeup of your project idea.  If you'd be able to prototype up something quick, that'd be even better!  Just let me know.

Thanks again!

Ken
