For the bands/talks that I tape, usually I like to upload the raw footage, with no filters applied on youtube.
I don't even merge the 4 part videos if the camera decides to abruptly stop recording for whatever reason. Even though I do have the hardware (probably software too) I don't have time to edit and make a polished video, in these times generally speaking. Someone who does, could easily merge all the media and should be able to make one comprehensive edited video. Pretty much compressing say a 1GB long video to 100MB is a step that saves me bandwidth usually, while uploading content to youtube under Creative Commons licensing. Usually I like to set comments to 'Approve' only. I'll be dropping the files off on kevlar tonight. I'm quite terrible with video editing despite multimedia being my job, so I really don't think I can do it justice. Who edited the 3d printing video of Rick from over a year ago? If we can't get this edited by tuesday or so, I'll just upload the one from whichever looks best. > > I am uploading my cell video to Dropbox as we speak, but we should be > able to figure out a good way to upload these to a spot where everyone > can get at them, so whoever wants to do so can compile them into one > video.
