Greetings,

I am going to be traveling up to Cleveland Mini-Maker Faire (4/13, morning),
and have one 8ft table for representing Modular Robotics. My intent was to
share their kit - Cubelets with attendees. I plan on taking a monitor and
laptop - which will be running vlc media player, with some videos of cubelets
downloaded from youtube. I plan on printing out signup sheets for those
interested in keeping in touch about the company, and their products so that I
can share it with their CEO Eric S. I am not getting paid to do this, but
volunteered when I learned that Mini-Maker Faire was being organized.

The event organizer James Krouse, sent me email asking about how many tables
synhak would need.

We still have an opportunity to represent synhak at the cleveland public
library between 10a-6p.

I wanted to send this email out to all subscribers of the discuss list, who are
interested in the following possibilities at the Cleveland Mini-Maker Faire
from synhak's standpoint:

- Merging and expanding makersalliance soldering class - they are planning
soldering classes, some people from our group could expand their team as well
as represent synhak at the same time.
- Selling our recently acquired merchandise - wrist bands only (according to
Trever) -  and raise funds for our future 3D Printer
- Travel with me in my Crown Vic to share the parking permit they have issued
to me for my Mod Robotics demo
-- (James let us know that if we carpool, the organizers will be able to
save some money, and advised strongly in its favor).

According to Trever, thus far none of the subscribers of discuss list have
travel plans to visit Cleveland Mini-Maker Faire to represent synhak.

If that is true, and no one is planning to travel to Cle Mini-Maker Faire, I
plan to do the following tasks independently (as I should be able to manage
them during the event):

- Request one 8ft table from James
- Grab the big 8ft synhak sign that Trever can make available before Saturday,
place it on an 8ft table at the event to look better than an empty table.
-- Wish I had one for Mod Robotics too :(
- Grab the merchandize from synhak, and collect funds (if any), drop the
collections off at the space or to the treasurer or secretary.
- Play Trever's presentation on youtube on my laptop
- Print out signup sheets to get email addresses of attendees interested in
meeting us at Synhak after the event.

I am not banking on CPL's wifi connection to be available. I'm trying to
collect all material locally so that I have less interference and can keep
sharing information about cubelets as well as synhak. Any project (before and
after) photos would be useful right about now.

If you are interested in any of the above, or have thoughts yourself on
something you'd like to do, please email me asap at [email protected] so that I
can get a head count (more precisely table count) for James.

Regards,

G
